Why join WINDO?
Because YOU play a vital and unique role in making the change we all want to see. Yet we have strength in numbers. We have a powerful voice! It's time for us to come together, empower each other and make change happen.
Help us create an inspired world where women and men are social, economic and political equals that value and respect each other’s unique inherent capabilities and are united across their communities in meeting today’s challenges to create a better tomorrow.
To honour, celebrate and advance women and girls’ talents, innovations and endeavours through innovative programs that culminate in International Women’s Week with the goal of it becoming a major cultural event nationally.
To provide a central and inclusive hub that offers more interesting and meaningful ways to engage women and girls in our communities to connect, collaborate and achieve common goals and gain funding.
Here's what our members are saying:
"WINDO is a unique and genuine organisation run by authentic, intelligent and passionate women whose goal is to help support, lift and grow women in business. In my personal experience, they have gone above and beyond, coming up with fabulous ideas and suggestions and offering support in ways I didn’t even appreciate existed. Running a small social enterprise on the coast has its obvious challenges which is what makes joining WINDO an absolute necessity. Couldn’t be happier or more grateful for this ridiculously well priced membership and community. Value for money and so much more."
- Tasha Lawton, Filmmaker and Founder of Period Talk
"As an emerging new business owner in the women's creative collaboration field in Noosa, I was looking for networking groups to get involved with that had a broader community purpose. When I came across WINDO it immediately resonated with me. I joined up and attended a lovely morning tea with some incredible female speakers and thoroughly enjoyed being among a multi-generational group of amazing women. Every age bracket of woman was represented in the room and I love that!
I have started a boutique co-working atelier & creative workshop venue which, as a business member of WINDO I am able to advertise my business on the website and connect with a much larger audience. The team have been very supportive and put ideas forward to generate more business activity and connection in the space and within the WINDO community.
I am excited for the future of WINDO and how I can personally learn and grow from the wealth of experience and knowledge in the community, not just in my business, but in motherhood, family and life in general."
- Jeanie Hunter, Milliner, Creative and Founder of Lipstick Lane Atelier and Co-working Studio
